Baked veal in a roasting bag
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I'll be honest with you—since I'm an avid meat lover, I've tried many different dishes and meat preparation methods, but this recipe remains one of my favorites. Every time I've made veal roasted in a cooking bag at home, it has turned out delicious—never dry, always juicy. Of course, the recipe for roasted veal in a bag can be slightly varied; I've offered you the simplest version with just salt and ground pepper. I think adding a few of your favorite spices or vegetables to the veal won't hurt the taste at all—it might even enhance it. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

First, we rinse the meat under running water and dry it with paper towels. Then we season the veal on all sides with salt and ground pepper, and place the meat in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. After the meat has marinated, transfer it into a roasting bag, tie the bag on both ends, and make several small holes in the bag to allow steam to escape.

Step 2

Place the meat in an oven preheated to 245 degrees and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours. After 1.5 hours, carefully pierce the meat; if it's still tough, continue roasting for another 30–40 minutes. As soon as the meat becomes tender, carefully cut open the oven bag, uncover the veal, and return it to the oven for another 15–20 minutes, so the meat develops a fragrant crust.

Step 3

Remove the cooked meat from the oven and let it cool slightly, then cut the veal into pieces.

Step 4

Serve the meat with any side dish of your choice; it can also be added to various salads or used to make sandwiches—delicious any way you choose.
