
Baked turkey drumstick with spices
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Juicy turkey legs marinated with spicy seasonings for quite a while, but the result will exceed all your expectations. You can add less chili powder if you don't want a very spicy dish. Serve hot.

1. In a saucepan, combine water, salt, sugar, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of spice mix, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.

2. Let it cool, then pour into a large container. Once the marinade has cooled, place the turkey drumstick into it. Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate for 4-6 hours, or longer if you have time.

3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Mix chili powder, spice blend, paprika, and onion salt in a bowl.

4. Remove the turkey drumstick from the marinade and rinse under cold water. Pat dry. Rub the entire surface of the turkey with spices, including the area under the skin. Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet.

5. Roast the turkey in a preheated oven for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 150°C and continue roasting for another 15 minutes, until the turkey is cooked through.

6. Take the drumsticks out of the oven and wrap the lower part in aluminum foil for serving – this will make them easier to pick up and eat.
