Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use lightly salted salmon, salmon, chum salmon, or trout.
- 2
Step 2

Cook the rice, rinsing it first in cool water. Then pour vinegar into the rice and add salt and sugar. Mix thoroughly and leave it covered with a lid to steam for 10 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Place the nori on a mat or on plastic wrap if you don't have a mat. Spread the cooked rice over the nori, distributing it with your palms moistened with water.
- 4
Step 4

Press the rice firmly onto the nori and carefully flip it over so the rice ends up on the bottom. Near the very edge of the nori, lay a wide strip of cream cheese, and next to it, lengthwise slices of washed cucumber. Carefully roll everything into a roll, starting from the edge with the filling. Then slice the red fish and wrap the roll with it.
- 5
Step 5

Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil and place the roll in it. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the dish for 8–10 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Make sure the fish slices do not dry out, or they will become tough. Remove from the mold and let cool slightly.
- 7
Step 7

Cut the roll into slices with a sharp knife, constantly wetting the knife in water. Arrange the slices on a plate and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger while still warm.
