Baked Stuffed Mackerel

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Finely chop the onion. Melt margarine in a large skillet. Sauté the chopped onion until soft. Add oatmeal, breadcrumbs, and herbs, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Add a little hot water if necessary. Fill the fish cavity with the stuffing and wrap each fish separately in well-oiled aluminum foil. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Place the stuffed mackerel on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
