Freezing Cauliflower
Description
A winter preserve made at home. Freezing cauliflower at home like this is done very quickly. The main thing: sort through the cauliflower carefully and choose only perfect heads. The second important step is to blanch it in boiling water and rinse as thoroughly as possible so that not a single gnat ends up in your soup later. Jars can be stored for up to a year in a cool place.

Step 1

1. Rinse the cabbage thoroughly. Place it in a bowl and pour salted boiling water over it. Wait 20 minutes, then rinse again with cold water.

Step 2

2. Remove all green parts. Cut into small florets. If the cabbage has wilted or looks "diseased", do not freeze those florets.

Step 3

3. After sorting through the cabbage, dry it thoroughly. Once it is dry, place it in a container or a vacuum bag and put it in the freezer. Done!
