
Jellied cottage cheese pie with apples
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. Serve the jellied cottage cheese pie warm or chilled so that the pastry slices neatly and doesn’t tear apart. Don’t forget hot drinks: tea, coffee, latte, cappuccino, or hot milk. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Apples of any variety can be used. If the fruits are sour, add sugar.

Crack the chicken eggs into the bowl of a mixer or food processor. Add the salt and sugar. Beat everything for about 4–5 minutes into a fluffy foam at high speed.

Add the wheat flour and baking powder, then gently mix, but do not beat.

Mash the cottage cheese with a fork so there are no large lumps in the batter. Add the sour cream and fold the cottage cheese into the batter. Stir gently. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Remove the seeds from the apples by cutting each fruit into four parts. Then rinse and slice them. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, pour the batter into it, and place the apple slices in the batter. Or place the apple slices on the bottom and pour the batter on top.

Bake the pie for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown. Check its doneness with a wooden skewer and turn off the heat.
