Molded pie with young cabbage
Description
Indifferent ones won't remain, trust me! Since everything is very quick, the pie can easily be prepared before the guests arrive. The dough for the pie is universal, suitable for any filling—from savory to sweet. But cabbage with egg is a beloved classic! If you are a little late and the cabbage is already tough, then soften it a bit with salt. The baking is ready. Serve to the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all necessary ingredients. For the filling, boil the eggs in advance.
- 2
Step 2

Melt the butter and whisk together with kefir, sour cream, eggs, sugar, and salt.
- 3
Step 3

Combine the flour with the leavening agent and add it to the prepared kefir mixture. The dough is ready.
- 4
Step 4

Wash the young cabbage and herbs. Finely shred the cabbage, chop the herbs and peeled eggs. Mix everything well and season with salt to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Grease a 26 cm pan with vegetable oil and, smoothing with a spoon, spread one‑third of the dough on the bottom.
- 6
Step 6

Then spread the filling in an even layer. Leave gaps of about 0.5 cm at the edges so that the dough joins together and forms the pie’s sides.
- 7
Step 7

Also, spoon the remaining dough on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 55–60 minutes at 180 °C.
- 8
Step 8

Our pie is ready! It can be served both warm and chilled.
- 9
Step 9

Ready. Serve at the table.
