
Molded pie with potatoes and mushrooms

Ideally suited for tea and coffee. A baked pie with potatoes and mushrooms is a tasty and easy-to-prepare dish. The dough is made with kefir, and for the filling you will need fried button mushrooms and boiled potatoes.

Prepare the ingredients.

Pour the kefir into the bowl, crack the chicken egg.

Add salt, flour, and baking powder.

Stir the batter; it will be slightly thick, like for pancakes.

Slice the washed mushrooms into thin slices, and cut the peeled onion into quarter rings. Place the ingredients onto a skillet with heated oil.

Sauté the mushrooms with the onion for 5–7 minutes, add salt and pepper to taste. Remove from the stove, let cool.

Boil the potatoes until tender, let them cool and cut into cubes. Mix with mushrooms. The filling is ready.

Grease the baking dish with butter, pour one third of the dough onto the bottom, and spread the potato‑mushroom filling on top.

Pour the remaining dough over the filling and place it to bake in an oven preheated to 170 °C.

In 35 minutes the pie will become fluffy, golden, and fully baked. Take it out of the oven, let it cool slightly.
