Milk poured cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The pie turns out tender, fragrant, and very tasty. The dough is versatile and works for practically any filling; sometimes I use it for open, custard pies or pizza with a liquid dough when there's no time at all, and you need to feed the family heartily and quickly. Today I'm sharing, Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Boil the eggs for the filling in advance, let them cool, and peel them.
- 2
Step 2

Since the dough is ready in just a few minutes, I suggest preparing the filling first. Cut the eggs into cubes.
- 3
Step 3

Add the chopped green onion.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the melted butter, add salt and pepper to taste, and mix everything well.
- 5
Step 5

The filling is ready. Now prepare the dough. In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with 0.5 tsp of salt.
- 6
Step 6

Add milk at room temperature.
- 7
Step 7

Add the flour and baking powder at the end.
- 8
Step 8

Mix everything until a uniform consistency.
- 9
Step 9

Grease the baking pan with butter and dust the bottom and sides with flour or semolina. Pour about half of the batter. Evenly spread the entire filling on top.
- 10
Step 10

Spread the remaining dough on top with a spoon. Bake the pie in a preheated 180°C oven for about 15-20 minutes.
- 11
Step 11

As soon as the top sets, remove the pie from the oven and brush it with beaten egg yolk. Sprinkle the top, if desired, with sesame seeds or grated cheese. Return the pie and bake until a golden crust forms, about another 20 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

The milk‑based jelly pie is ready. Let it cool a bit, then slice and serve.
- 13
Step 13

Ready. Serve to the table.
