Kefir pie with filling
Description
The baking is simple and quick. You can make a poured cake with any filling you like. For this kefir-based poured cake, I used chicken breast, herbs, onion, and spices to taste as the filling. The batter turns out quite liquid, and the cake has two layers. See the recipe below. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we prepared the filling: sautéed onions, boiled chicken breast, then fried it together with the onions. Added spices and herbs, then let it cool.
- 2
Step 2

Now for the dough: add baking soda to the kefir and let it sit for about 5 minutes—the soda will thus be neutralized. Then beat the eggs with salt and sugar and pour them into the kefir.

Step 3

Add the sifted flour. Knead a liquid batter, about the consistency of pancake batter, or slightly thicker. Grease the cake pan, pour in part of the batter, add a layer of filling, then pour a very thin layer of batter on top.

Step 4

Again, place a layer of the kefir pie filling and cover it with the remaining dough.
- 5
Step 5

Place our pourable pie in a preheated oven and bake at about 180 degrees for approximately 25–30 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Let the finished pie cool.

Here's the kind of jellied pie I got using kefir.
