Aspic (Simple Recipe)

Description

This aspic is easy and quick to prepare and makes a great appetizer for your table. Serve it with mustard or horseradish. You can make aspic from any meat or fish; it is especially delicious made from beef tongue. You can also add boiled carrots or other vegetables for garnish. Serve the appetizer at the table.

   Step 1

   Boil the chicken breast until cooked through and let it cool. Do not discard the broth.

   In 1 cup of broth, dissolve the gelatin, warm slightly, and mix.

   Cut the fillet into pieces and arrange in an aspic mold. Garnish with hard-boiled eggs, herb leaves, and pieces of pepper.

   Pour in the broth and leave in the refrigerator to set.
