Description

Perfect for the table and with drinks. As a holiday approaches, everyone tries to find interesting recipes—new and unique ones. I did the same, and much of what I found are amazing dishes! I’ll share one of them today. This pork aspic recipe uses a minimum of ingredients—cook it and enjoy. 1. Let’s start by cooking the broth and the pork. Prepare the meat and wash it. Cover it with water in a pot and set it on the heat to boil. 2. Pork takes about an hour to cook. In my recipe I listed only 500 grams of pork so you can first try my pork aspic. If you like it, make a larger batch. So, 500 grams of pork cooks for about 40–60 minutes. 3. Pour cold boiled water over the gelatin and let it swell. 4. Twenty minutes before the pork is done, add peeled carrots to the same broth. Or leave them unpeeled, but then wash the carrots well. 5. You also need to boil eggs hard. Cool the boiled eggs in cold water. 6. You can add fresh herbs with the other ingredients, or serve them as a garnish. 7. Remove the pork from the finished broth. 8. Cut the meat into small pieces. 9. Cut the carrots and eggs as well. 10. Arrange the meat, carrots, and eggs in an aspic mold. 11. Pour the gelatin into the broth and simmer over low heat until the gelatin dissolves completely. Make sure the liquid does not boil. And stir! Keep stirring constantly. 12. Pour the broth over the filling in the mold. Place in the refrigerator. Pork aspic needs at least two hours to set. Better to leave it overnight. Garnish with herbs before serving. You can serve it warm or chilled.
