
Jellied Chicken Gizzards
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. If you decide to make this aspic for a festive table, add green peas, canned corn, or pieces of fresh bell pepper for decoration. It will look very colorful and appetizing. You can serve it warm or chilled.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Thoroughly wash the stomachs. Peel and wash the vegetables.

Place the stomachs in a pot, cover with clean water, and cook for about 30 minutes.

Add the carrots, onion, garlic, bay leaf, and peppercorns to the boiling broth. Season with salt to taste and simmer for another 30 minutes.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the vegetables and gizzards. Strain the broth. Cut the gizzards into pieces and the carrots into rounds. Arrange everything in containers and, if desired, add a little herbs.

Prepare one liter of strained broth with gelatin according to the instructions on the package. Pour it over the prepared stomachs. Set aside to cool, then refrigerate until fully set.
