
Chicken Aspic with Gelatin

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Making aspic does not require much skill or much time. You can make it from any kind of meat. It is especially quick with chicken. The finished dish can be served with mustard. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

To prepare the aspic, gather the necessary ingredients. Peel and wash the carrots. You can use any part of the chicken for boiling. Chicken breast fillet is the most convenient to use.

Soak the gelatin in cold water and let it bloom.

Put the chicken on to cook. Bring to a boil, skimming off the foam.

Add the onion and carrots to the pot with the chicken.

Let everything simmer together for 1 hour. Add salt, spices, and bay leaf to taste.

Remove the chicken from the prepared broth. Strain the broth and add the bloomed gelatin, stirring until it is completely dissolved.
