    Prepare all the ingredients. It is preferable to use homemade mayonnaise so you can be sure of its quality. Choose high-quality, tasty crab sticks. If necessary, thaw the crab sticks.

    Boil the chicken eggs hard (it will take 9–10 minutes from the moment the water comes to a boil), then cool them completely and peel them. Separate each egg into whites and yolks. Grate the yolks on a fine grater and place them in a bowl.

    Also grate the cheese on a fine grater and combine with the egg yolks.

    Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise to the cheese with the egg yolks.

    Unroll all the crab sticks so that you get flat square sheets. On the serving dish (or a suitable plate) on which you will serve the appetizer cake, place one "crab" sheet.

    Spread a thin layer of cheese spread.

    On top, place another unfolded crab stick, then the filling. Continue alternating unfolded crab sticks and the cheese filling until you have assembled the entire appetizer cake. The final layer should be a sheet of crab stick. Spread the top and sides of the cake with a thin layer of the remaining 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.

    Grate the egg whites on a fine grater and spread them over the top and sides of the cake. Place the appetizer cake in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours so it can soak through.
