
Appetizer pastries with pâté
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. They may seem simple — just puff pastry with pâté — but from personal experience, I know they disappear from the table in an instant. These mini pastries are an excellent solution to the eternal question: "What should we make?" when hosting a friendly get-together, movie night, or any other celebration. They're quick and easy to prepare, and everyone will be satisfied. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.

1. Thaw the dough in advance. Beat the egg and mix well.

2. Lightly roll out the sheets of dough and place portions of pâté on each one. I get 12 pastries.

3. Brush the dough between the pâté pieces with beaten egg.

4. Cover with the second sheet of dough and cut into squares with a sharp knife, leaving mounds of pâté in the center.

5. Pinch the edges of each square-shaped puff pastry and run a fork along the edges for a neat and secure finish.

6. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
