Appetizer roses
Description
Delicious pastries for the whole family. Making savory puff-pastry roses is quite simple. They are essentially small rolls made from puff pastry with sausage and cheese, but served in an original way. You can use any sausage or replace it altogether with ham. Try them! Your family and guests will be delighted. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Thinly slice the sausage and cheese as shown in the photo.
- 3
Step 3

Thaw the dough at room temperature. Roll out each sheet into a rectangle and cut into strips. I ended up with ten pieces.
- 4
Step 4

On each strip of dough, lay the sausage in a single layer, then spread the cheese on top.
- 5
Step 5

Roll the pastry strips into spirals (like small rolls); pinch closed the underside and the seam so they seal well. Then gently curve the edges outward with your hands so they look a little like a rose.
- 6
Step 6

Transfer the rosettes to a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg. Bake at 200°C for about 25 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Snack roses are ready.
- 8
Step 8

Your baking is ready. Serve with tea.
