
Appetizer bagels
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Bagels aren't only for sweet treats with tea. If you'd like to make simple, unsweetened (even completely fasting) bagels, you'll end up with a delicious snack. To prepare savory bagels, I used a pack of ready-made unsweetened bagels, ready-made ground meat (any kind will do), a little milk, and some cheese for topping. By the way, you can add carrots and herbs to the meat mixture, in addition to onion. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Soak the bagels in milk for 10-15 minutes.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, grease it with vegetable oil, and sprinkle with semolina. Place soaked bagels in rows (you can slightly squeeze them).

Mash the ground meat with a fork, add spices, egg, soaked bread, and minced onion. Mix well.

Place the filling into the bagel holes, and you can brush them with sauce (ready-made béchamel or even just mayonnaise).

Sprinkle with grated cheese. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
