Description

Snake Appetizer is one such eye-catching dish that can adorn your New Year's table this year (and not only this year). It's not difficult to prepare — but on the table it will look very festive! :) Serve with greens and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

The ingredients for making this appetizer are very simple, and that's another one of its advantages.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the eggs with salt and pepper, pour onto an oiled skillet, and fry the pancake on both sides until done.
- 3
Step 3

Finely chop the ham.
- 4
Step 4

Finely chop the crab sticks as well and add them to the ham.
- 5
Step 5

Add the grated cheese and pressed garlic as well.
- 6
Step 6

Add mayonnaise and mix.
- 7
Step 7

Place the finished salad on the egg pancake. Set aside a small portion of the salad, literally 2 tbsp — you will need it later.
- 8
Step 8

Roll the pancake into a roll and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
- 9
Step 9

Take the well-set roll out of the refrigerator and cut it into pieces.
- 10
Step 10

Then cut each piece crosswise into two parts.
- 11
Step 11

Now arrange small pieces of the roll on a serving platter, forming a winding snake. Cut the olives in half and place them on the snake — this serves as the scales. Cover the rest of the platter with greens — this serves as the grass.
- 12
Step 12

Now we need to make the snake's head. To do this, take a boiled egg, cut it in half, remove the yolk, and in its place put the 2 tbsp. of salad that was set aside into the egg.
- 13
Step 13

Attach the head.
- 14
Step 14

Make eyes and a tongue for the snake out of something—for example, a clove and a piece of sweet bell pepper. If you like, you can decorate the snake some other way—the main thing is that it ends up looking beautiful and striking :)
