    Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve.

    Peel the hard-boiled eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the yolks on a fine grater.

    Combine the egg yolks with a small amount of melted cheese, chopped nuts, and mayonnaise.

    Form balls from the yolks.
