
Appetizer with shrimp and pepperoni
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Sometimes you need to whip something up in a hurry—for example, for an outdoor picnic, or if friends call and say they’re just a couple of blocks away! 1. Slice the tomatoes into thin rings; do not use the top and bottom. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.

2. Chop the onion as finely as possible. If it tastes too strong, don’t hesitate to scald it with boiling water.

3. Cut into the shrimp around the belly and open it so it resembles a butterfly. Place a slice of pepperoni on the exposed surface. Arrange the prepared appetizer bases on a baking sheet.

4. Top the sausage with tomato rings, chopped onion, and grated cheese.

5. Place the tray with the raw appetizers in the oven for 7–10 minutes at 170–180°C. They are ready as soon as the shrimp are no longer translucent and the cheese has melted. Transfer the finished appetizers to a plate and treat your guests to an unusual, beautiful dish.
