Appetizer for cognac

15 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

Suitable for both a festive occasion and every day. Since cognac is traditionally served after a feast, the appetizer should be light. Fruits work well: grapes, apples, pears, strawberries. You can accompany cognac with white grape juice or still mineral water. Olives, nuts, and various cheeses also pair well with cognac. I suggest you try cheese balls made from feta and rich farm cottage cheese with basil, coated in toasted walnuts. I do not use any spices; the taste of this appetizer is harmonious and needs no additions. To bring out the nutty aroma, walnuts should be toasted in a dry frying pan. See more details in the recipe. Serve with herbs and sauce.
