Appetizer for Champagne

20 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

If guests arrive with champagne and fruit, you can quickly prepare an appetizer. Slice the fruit into rings and arrange them attractively. You can use any fruit you like and whatever you have on hand.

    Step 1

    1. For this appetizer, you can use any fruits, including tropical ones. They will all pair perfectly with chilled champagne. I had oranges, kiwi, and frozen cherries, and in just 15 minutes I made an excellent appetizer.

    2. Slice the oranges into rings, leaving the peel on (this helps them retain their juice longer). Peel the kiwis and slice them into rings no thicker than 4 mm. Arrange the oranges on the plate first, then add the kiwi as the inner layer. Choose your own arrangement pattern. I was in the mood for something romantic, so I decided to shape it like a heart.

    3. I had frozen cherries on hand. If you let them sit on the counter for about 10–15 minutes, you can remove the pits easily without damaging their shape. That's what I did.

    4. Cherries can be replaced with any grapes (red grapes work well for contrast with green kiwi and orange)—this is up to you. It's grape season right now, so feel free to place them in the center.

    5. That's it - the champagne appetizer is ready! Very simple and quick!
