Appetizer for port wine
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A port wine appetizer is a combination of various ingredients that don't overpower each other's flavors. Bread products are not included in the ingredient list—they are replaced with nuts, soft cheese, and prepared meat products. The essential ingredients are: pears, honey, nuts, and cheese; everything else is up to your taste and preference. It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. All products should be either sweet in taste or slightly salty, but not sour!

Step 2

Remove the stems from the strawberries. Pluck the grapes from the cluster into a deep container. Add the cleaned strawberries as well and cover with cold water. Rinse thoroughly several times. Instead of strawberries, you can use any sweet berries: blackberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, but not currants or sour cherries!

Step 3

Last, prepare the pears by cutting them into four pieces and removing the cores. Rinse the flesh in water and immediately sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.

Step 4

Place the honey in a ramekin or small bowl and set the container in the center of the plate. Arrange washed strawberries and grapes on the sides, mozzarella balls cut into quarters (if they are small, there is no need to cut them), walnut kernels, and pear slices. Serve the port wine appetizer to the table immediately, preserving all the vitamins in the berries.
