Appetizer with Salted Herring, Beets and Peas
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. A great quick appetizer option if you have boiled beets on hand. An excellent choice if guests arrive unexpectedly and you need to set the table in a hurry. If you’re not in a rush and want to slice the herring neatly, I recommend lightly freezing the fillets. Beets are best baked in the oven or in the microwave so they won’t be watery. Can be served warm or chilled.
