Chicken Feet Appetizer
Description
Perfect with a meal and drinks. If you've never tried a dish like this, we strongly recommend correcting that oversight. Chicken feet in soy sauce turn out extremely tasty and juicy, with a bold garlic aroma. Remember that they should only be served hot, as they stick together when cooled and become denser. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Buy chicken feet fresh and without damage.
- 2
Step 2

Clean the chicken feet by removing the yellow skin, trim off the nails, and rinse thoroughly in water.
- 3
Step 3

Place them in a pot, add chicken seasoning, 2 pinches of salt, and bay leaves. Pour in hot water and boil the paws for 20 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Remove them from the broth onto a plate and check for doneness — they should be tender. Don't overcook them so they keep their shape.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the onion and garlic and rinse them under water. Dice the onion into small cubes, and press the garlic through a garlic press. Add the chopped ingredients to a skillet with vegetable oil and sauté over medium heat for 3–4 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Add the boiled chicken feet to the pan.
- 7
Step 7

Add the remaining salt and pour in the soy sauce. You can also add other spices and chopped fresh herbs.
- 8
Step 8

Sauté for about 5–6 minutes until the paws are golden brown, so they absorb the aromas and flavors of the seasonings and soy sauce.
- 9
Step 9

Place the chicken feet appetizer on a plate and serve with sauces, pickled ginger, and beer. Enjoy your meal!
