Ground meat appetizer
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Making this ground-meat appetizer shaped into little yarn-ball bundles is no harder than making regular meatballs. The filling is prepared exactly the same way; the only difference is that the ground-meat balls are wrapped with thin strips of puff pastry. As you can see, minimum effort — and an original appetizer for both festive and everyday tables is ready! If you liked my recipe, the appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Step 2

Prepare the mince: run the meat through a meat grinder, add an egg, bread soaked in water or milk, finely chopped onion and garlic, salt and pepper. Mix the resulting mixture well.
- 3
Step 3

Shape the ground meat into balls about 3 cm in diameter.
- 4
Step 4

Thaw the puff pastry and roll it out as thin as possible. Cut it into strips about 5 mm wide. Wrap the ground-meat balls in strips of dough.
- 5
Step 5

Brush the tops of the formed balls with beaten egg.
- 6
Step 6

Bake the balls in the oven at 180°C for 20–25 minutes. Serve hot. If the appetizer has cooled before your guests arrive, reheat it in the microwave for about a minute.
