New Year 2024 Appetizer
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Making the "Little Dragons" appetizer is very easy, but if you're too lazy or don't have time for shaping, you can form balls from the yolk mixture and place them on the caviar. It will be no less tasty, but admittedly not as interesting. Instead of red caviar, you can use finely chopped lightly salted salmon or trout. The specified amount yields exactly six little dragons. The appetizer is impressive and takes just minutes to prepare — which is very important when cooking for a festive table. Be sure to take note of this recipe. Serve the appetizer at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Boil the eggs in advance for 10 minutes and let them cool.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the eggs and cut them in half.
- 3
Step 3

Carefully separate the yolks and rub them into crumbs.
- 4
Step 4

Add the cream cheese and chopped herbs.
- 5
Step 5

Mix everything until homogeneous.
- 6
Step 6

Fill the egg white halves with caviar.
- 7
Step 7

From the mixture prepared earlier, shape the little dragons’ heads. The mixture is thick enough and shapes easily, but if it still won’t hold together for you, add one more extra egg yolk.

Step 8

Using a vegetable peeler, peel the cucumber and cut out wings with kitchen scissors. Our appetizer is almost ready. Place the dragon heads on top of the caviar, insert the wings into the cheese-and-egg mixture, and decorate so it is easy to tell they are little dragons.

Step 9

From the cucumber peel you can cut out the "whites" of the eyes; use peppercorns for the pupils, and make the nostrils from a couple of caviar grains. The appetizer "Little Dragons" is ready.
