
Canning beets for winter
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. Boil the beets in advance. Cut into cubes. Put the beets, garlic, and marinade into sterilized jars and sterilize. Seal the jars, turn them upside down, and cover with a warm blanket. Let cool slowly. Done.

Boil the beets in advance, let them cool, and peel off the skins. Peel the garlic and rinse under water.

Cut the beets into cubes, but not too small, so there is room for the brine.

Place the beets in a sterile jar, add the spices and garlic.

In a small saucepan, prepare the brine. Bring the water to a boil, add the salt and sugar, and boil for 1 minute. Pour in the vinegar and turn off the heat. Pour the brine over the beets.

Cover the jar with a sterile lid and sterilize for 12–13 minutes. Then seal.
