Canning Cucumbers with Citric Acid

Description

Winter preserves at home. Try this simple method of canning cucumbers with citric acid at home. The amounts of ingredients listed are enough to fill one 3-liter jar or three 1-liter jars. The finished preserves can be stored in a cool cellar or pantry. Good luck

    Wash the cucumbers and trim off the blossom ends. Cover the cucumbers with cold water and let stand for 2–3 hours.

    Sterilize the jars. Place washed dill sprigs in them.

    Also add garlic cloves and carrots, sliced into rounds, to the jars.

    Cut both peppers into rounds and add them to the jars.

    Now pack the cucumbers into the jars and cover with boiling water. Cover the jars with lids, and after 20 minutes drain off the water. Bring the drained water to a boil and pour it over again for 20 minutes. The third time, add sugar and salt to the boiling water. Distribute the citric acid among the jars and top with brine. Seal the jars and leave in a warm place until completely cool. Then store in a cool place.
