
Pork Tongue in the Oven
Description
Perfect with meals and drinks. Unlike boiled tongue, you won't have any trouble peeling baked tongue. After baking, let the tongue cool, then slice it into thin slices. Serve the tongue right away or store it in the refrigerator. Baked tongue is an excellent appetizer for a festive table. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

1. Add minced garlic, bay leaf, khmeli-suneli, and thyme to a bowl, pour in soy sauce and sunflower oil, and mix.

2. Wash the pork tongues, place them in a bowl, and pour boiling water over them; let sit for 5 minutes. Drain the water and place them on foil, pour the prepared spices over them, and let sit for 1 hour.

3. Wrap the tongues in foil, place them in a baking dish, and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 90 minutes.

4. 20 minutes before the end of the baking process, unwrap the foil and continue baking.

5. If you like, remove the skin, but it is very thin and barely noticeable. Serve the tongues after they have cooled, sliced into thin pieces.
