
Egg Cobbler
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. A bright, colorful cobbler turns out very filling. In essence, this pie is individual sandwiches baked in an egg custard. Instead of milk you can use cream with no more than 20% fat, or sour cream or mayonnaise. It can be served with tea or coffee.

Prepare the ingredients listed. Instead of salted balyk, you can use milk sausage, smoked sausage, or pork belly (brisket).

In a deep bowl, beat chicken eggs with milk (any fat content) and salt.

Rinse the tomato under water and cut out its green core. Slice the tomato into rounds, and slice the basturma or sausage thinly.

Grease the pan with vegetable oil, or line it with foil greased with oil. Around the perimeter, arrange slices of loaf bread; on top, slices of sausage or meat; then sliced tomato, and so on.

Pour the egg mixture over everything, pouring it mainly onto the bread slices.

Cut the cheese into pieces and place them on top. You can use any variety of cheese that melts easily.

Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake this quick pie for 15 minutes.
