
Egg dough
Description
No liquid (water, milk, kefir) is needed for this dough. The dough is made with eggs and yields incredibly light and tender baked goods. The dough is easy to mix; most of the time will go to proofing. You can make buns, pies, rolls, open or closed pies from it, as well as use it for flatbreads or as a pizza base. Anything baked from egg dough will be not only delicious but also beautiful, fluffy, and golden brown. Be sure to try it. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Combine 300 grams of flour, sugar, and yeast. Mix.

Add the eggs.

Mix and add vegetable oil.

Knead a soft dough, adding more flour as needed during the process. The dough will be slightly sticky. Shape it into a ball, brush with vegetable oil, cover, and leave in a warm place for 1.5–2 hours.

The dough will almost double in size.

The egg dough is ready. Before you start working with it, knead it once more, and after you have shaped it into your baked goods, leave them to proof for another half hour. Happy baking!
