Egg and meat cake with shawarma flavor

Description

I've known the recipe for this cake for a long time and periodically prepare it with various fillings. The base of this cake isn't dough, but thin Armenian lavash. You can make the filling yourself using any meat, or you can buy ready-made. The baking is done. Serve at the table.

    1. Heat a frying pan with a small amount of sunflower oil. Place the ready-made minced meat (any kind) onto the heated surface, break it up with a spatula, and fry.

    2. While the meat mixture is on the stove, peel and wash the carrot, then grate it finely on a coarse grater.

    3. I wash a large tomato, leave the skin on, and immediately cut the vegetable into small cubes.

    4. Wash dill (you can use any other greens) and chop finely.

    5. Add the chopped carrots to the slightly fried minced meat and mix.

    6. After 2-3 minutes, I add the tomatoes and mix.

    8. I mix the contents of the skillet, season with salt to taste and add spices (I use meat spices), then cook for another 10-15 minutes until the meat filling is fully cooked, and transfer it to a bowl to cool.

    9. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater and add to the warm filling, mix well.

    10. I unroll the lavash and place it into a suitable baking dish, then spread half of the filling onto it.

    11. I divide the second lavash into 2 parts, tear one of them into small pieces by hand, and soak them in kefir for 1 minute.

    12. Slightly squeeze the pieces and place them on the filling.

    13. Place the remaining filling on top, and tuck in all the overhanging edges.
