The recipe won't take much time. Eggs Benedict is not the simplest or most popular breakfast dish. It takes much longer to prepare than a regular omelet. Still, it's worth treating yourself and your loved ones to this incredible dish on a weekend morning at least once. Serve the appetizer to the table.

1. The recipe for Eggs Benedict should begin with the sauce. Hollandaise—that is what this Dutch sauce is called—makes this dish special. To prepare it, beat 2 egg yolks into a small saucepan or bowl. Season them lightly with salt and add 1 tablespoon of water. Mix thoroughly and place over a double boiler.

2. Cut the soft butter into small pieces and add to the egg yolks.

3. Stir the sauce constantly and do not let it overheat. To do this, periodically remove the container from the double boiler for a few minutes, but do not stop stirring.

4. In a separate small saucepan, bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Add vinegar. Stir with a spoon or whisk to form a whirlpool and pour the egg into it.

5. Place the bottom half of a halved bun and a slice of bacon on a dry skillet. Fry until golden brown.
