
Eggs Stuffed with Sardines
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. You can prepare the appetizer ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator until serving. Because the ingredients are inexpensive, the appetizer is budget-friendly, yet still very tasty and festive. If desired, garnish the stuffed eggs with a pinch of ground paprika. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Boil the chicken eggs in advance for 15 minutes, then cool them in ice water.

Peel the boiled chicken eggs, rinse them in water. Cut them vertically in half to form boats.

Separate the yolks and place them in a deep bowl. Add the sardines to the same bowl, shaking off the oil or marinade. If you don't like mayonnaise, pour a few spoonfuls of the oil in which the fish pieces were stored into the bowl.

Spread mayonnaise of any fat content. Mash everything with a fork and mix to form the filling. If desired, add finely chopped dill.

Stuff the remaining egg whites on the plate with the prepared fish filling.

Garnish with parsley leaves, chill in the refrigerator for about 20–30 minutes, and serve.
