Step 1

1. Carefully and meticulously select each berry for this treat – large, firm berries with a sturdy green stem are best. Wash the selected berries and gently shake off the water.

Step 2

2. Measure the required amount of chocolate sprinkles, grate the chocolate bar on a coarse grater.

Step 3

3. Place the chocolate in a small saucepan and melt it over very low heat.
- 4
Step 4

4. The hot chocolate needs to be thoroughly mixed to ensure there are no lumps.
- 5
Step 5

5. Hold each strawberry by the green stem and dip it into the hot chocolate, gently rotating. For a more attractive appearance, leave a few millimeters of the berry near the stem without chocolate.
- 6
Step 6

6. Place the finished strawberries on a tray with waxed baking paper and let cool. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in a separate small bowl.

Step 7

7. After checking the consistency of the melted white chocolate, use a long-handled spoon to drizzle it in a thin stream over the chocolate-covered berries placed on a plate, decorating them along the sides. For greater convenience and neater zigzag patterns, you can pour the white chocolate into a piping bag and snip off a small corner to work with.
