Description
An incredibly colorful and aromatic punch can be prepared in 15 minutes using any berries you have on hand. This drink pleasantly warms the body, bringing lightness, relaxation, and a cheerful mood. It's best served with dinner—chilled.

Prepare the listed ingredients. If making punch during winter, use frozen berries or berry puree.

Wash the berries in water, remove the stems and leaves, and pour them into a saucepan or pot.

Cut a quarter of a lemon into pieces and add it to the container along with the sugar, spices, and herbs. You can use ground cinnamon instead of cinnamon sticks, and add cloves if you enjoy their flavor in drinks.

Pour in hot water and place the pot on the stove. Simmer the compote for 5–8 minutes to allow the berries to thaw and release their color, aroma, and flavor into the liquid.

As soon as this happens, turn off the heat and pour cognac or brandy into the compote. Purchase high-quality alcohol, otherwise it will spoil your entire drink! Carefully mix everything.
