Berry pie on cottage cheese dough
Description
If you're interested, serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Separate the egg yolks from the whites, chill them well so that the whites are cold. Place in the bowl of a mixer or food processor and beat, gradually adding sugar, until stiff, firm peaks form.
- 2
Step 2

Add the yolks to the white fluffy mixture, continuing to beat at high speed.
- 3
Step 3

Now add sour cream and cottage cheese. Use medium-fat sour cream and fatty, but not moist or crumbly cottage cheese. This will make the dough tasty, light, and very juicy.
- 4
Step 4

Melt the margarine and pour it into the mixture. Then add a teaspoon of baking soda, which does not need to be neutralized with vinegar. Gradually add flour. The dough should have a consistency similar to sour cream.
- 5
Step 5

Grease a baking dish or baking sheet with odorless vegetable oil (or margarine). Pour the prepared batter into it and smooth it out well.
- 6
Step 6

Wash and dry all the berries. Then arrange them on the dough in any pattern you like, slightly pressing them in. Large berries, such as strawberries, can be cut in half or into four pieces. Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
