
Berry Lavash
Description
Lavash can be made with any berries. This dessert can be served on its own or accompanied by ice cream. Be sure to try it!

Step 1

I will be making berry lavash from black and red currants.

Sort the berries, wash and dry them. Put them into the blender bowl.

Add sugar to taste. Beat until smooth puree.

Then strain the purée through a sieve to remove the seeds and skins.

Line the dehydrator tray or baking sheet with parchment paper. I lightly grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil. Pour in the puree and spread it into an even layer.

You can dry the berry leather in a dehydrator, oven, or in the sun. I dry it first for 6 hours at 60 degrees. Then I let it cool down and dry it for another 6 hours at 65 degrees. Finally, I finish drying it at 70 degrees until the leather is no longer sticky.
