Baked apples in the microwave
Description
The recipe won't take much time. When you don't feel like using the oven but still want something light and tasty, baked apples are just the thing. I make this dessert quite often, especially when the apples have been sitting around for a while and have become a bit soft. The aroma of apples baked in the microwave using this simple recipe will bring all your family members running—maybe even your neighbors too :) After all, the combination of apples and cinnamon is simply amazing! It's both delicious and healthy, believe me. So, here's how to do it. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Choose apples for baking. It's best to pick ones of the same size. I had different sizes, so some baked faster.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the dried apricots and chop finely.
- 3
Step 3

Prepare the apple filling by mixing dried apricots with sugar and cinnamon.
- 4
Step 4

Cut out the core from the apples. Do this without piercing the apple all the way through.

Step 5

Fill the apples with the filling and place them in the microwave on full power for about 5 minutes.
