
Apple strudel with raisins

Slice the apples into wedges and remove the cores. Then sauté the apples in butter, sprinkling them with cinnamon. Add raisins, pour in 2 tablespoons of orange juice, and cook over low heat until tender. After that, let the apples cool.

Slightly stretch the thawed sheets of dough. Cut one edge (up to the center) into wide strips, 1.5–2 cm wide.

Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the dough on it. Brush the edges of the dough with egg. Sprinkle half of the dough with crushed almonds.

Place the apples and cover with the second piece of dough (with strips).

Pinch the edges together and brush with beaten egg. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
