Description

The recipe won't take much time. My recipe provides a detailed step-by-step guide for making apple strudel. This is a slightly unusual but very delicious dessert, especially popular in Europe. Moreover, this dessert can be served for Christmas dinner and will perfectly complement the holiday table. Treat yourself and your loved ones.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Ready-made puff yeast dough is perfect for this recipe. Take it out of the freezer in advance, let it thaw, and very carefully, without tearing the dough, remove it from the packaging. Then roll it out with a rolling pin, previously dusting it with flour to prevent the dough from sticking.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Melt the butter. Using a silicone pastry brush, spread the melted butter over the rolled-out dough. Evenly sprinkle with fine white breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Wash the apples and peel them (optional). Remove the cores and seeds. Cut the fruit into even cubes. Rinse the raisins under running water and drain in a colander to remove excess liquid. Mix the raisins with the apples, then add cinnamon and vanilla to taste.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Place the apples and raisins on the dough. Evenly distribute the filling over the entire dough sheet, leaving two to three centimeters empty on the sides to make it easier to roll the strudel into a roll.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Roll up the strudel as carefully as possible into a log. To prevent the dough from tearing, you can place a towel underneath it. This will make rolling much easier.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

In a small bowl, beat the egg yolk with a fork after separating it from the egg white. Take a silicone brush and use it to coat the entire surface of the roll. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the strudel for about fifty minutes.
