Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

In the dough-mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Add cold butter.
- 3
Step 3

Rub the flour and butter together until crumbly; add half the sugar.
- 4
Step 4

Beat in 2 eggs, knead the dough.
- 5
Step 5

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic film, and put it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
- 6
Step 6

Peel the apples and remove the cores.
- 7
Step 7

Grate the apples on a grater, add dried cranberries and cinnamon to them, and mix.
- 8
Step 8

Roll out the dough into a sheet; it is best to do this using two sheets of parchment paper.
- 9
Step 9

Spread the filling on the dough, leaving a 2 cm border at the bottom edge. Using the parchment you rolled the dough on, roll it into a jelly roll.

Step 10

Make an egg wash by mixing one egg yolk with a teaspoon of milk, and brush it over the roll with a pastry brush. Using a thin object, such as the tip of a teaspoon, draw a freehand pattern on the strudel. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

Step 11

Serve the strudel cooled. It turned out very pretty to look at and very delicate in taste. I’m sure you’ll like it!
