Apple pie with raspberry
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Mix apples, raspberries, granulated sugar, flour, lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl, then set aside. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one dough disk to 3 mm thickness. Cut a 30 cm diameter circle. Place the dough into a pie dish. Pour in the apple mixture. Brush with butter. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the remaining dough disk to 3 mm thickness. Cut a 30 cm diameter circle and place it on top of the apple mixture, carefully crimping the edges. Make several slits on top of the dough. Chill for 20 minutes. Whisk egg yolk and cream in a bowl, then brush the mixture over the top of the pie. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes. Cover the pie with foil if the top browns too quickly. Let cool on a wire rack for 4 hours (or overnight). Serve chilled.
