Apple pie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This pie is all‑season, as apples are on our shelves year round. But still, in my opinion, autumn is the most suitable time for tasty and "cozy" pies. The pie is very simple to prepare; the hardest part is peeling and slicing the apples. Everything else is even easier. Follow the step‑by‑step recipe and cook with pleasure. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Prepare the pan by lining it with parchment paper, greasing it with butter, and dusting it with flour. Place the pan in the refrigerator while you work on the filling and dough.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the apples, slice them thinly, and drizzle with lemon juice. Add a tablespoon of sugar, starch, and mix.
- 4
Step 4

In a deep bowl, crack two eggs and add the sugar, beat until fluffy.
- 5
Step 5

Add vanilla sugar, mix.
- 6
Step 6

Add softened butter, beat.
- 7
Step 7

Pour the kefir, stir.
- 8
Step 8

Add the flour in parts, continuing to whisk.
- 9
Step 9

Add the baking soda, neutralized in apple cider vinegar, and mix thoroughly.
- 10
Step 10

At this point, preheat the oven to 180 °C. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- 11
Step 11

Place the apple filling on top of the dough.
- 12
Step 12

Spread the second half of the dough and smooth it out.
- 13
Step 13

Bake for 30 minutes at 180 °C. Check doneness with a wooden skewer or toothpick. Carefully run a knife or spatula along the edge of the pan to remove the pie.
- 14
Step 14

Let the pie cool slightly, dust it with powdered sugar, and serve it at the table. The pie is extraordinarily good, with a delicate vanilla‑butter flavor, juicy because of the generous amount of filling. Not a pie, but a delight!
