Marinka's Cottage Cheese Apple Pie
Description
Homemade pastry for tea. Despite a fairly large set of ingredients, this pastry is prepared quite easily and quickly. I would say the recipe is of the “quick and easy” series—any beginner cook can handle it. What also makes this recipe appealing is that it contains no butter, margarine, or mayonnaise. And the cake itself turns out very tender, airy, and tasty! Be sure to try it! A
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

First, make the crumble. For this, combine flour, sugar and cold butter cut into cubes. Rub it with your hands until it resembles crumbs and place the topping in the refrigerator.
- 3
Step 3

In a separate deep bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat until a white foam appears.
- 4
Step 4

Add vegetable oil and milk, continuing to whisk.
- 5
Step 5

Add the flour and the leavening agent. Beat everything again.
- 6
Step 6

The dough should have a consistency roughly like sour cream.
- 7
Step 7

Grease the baking pan with butter, and dust the bottom and sides with flour or semolina. Spread the dough evenly.
- 8
Step 8

Slice the apples into wedges and arrange them on top in any order. You can peel the skin or leave it on—up to you. Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon. If you don’t like the aroma of cinnamon, you can omit it.
- 9
Step 9

Sprinkle everything evenly on top with the crumble we prepared at the very beginning.
- 10
Step 10

Place the pan in a preheated 170°C oven for about 1 hour. Marinka’s Tvorinka apple pie is ready.
- 11
Step 11

Slice the cake into individual portions and serve at the table. With tea, coffee, or milk – very tasty!
