Apple pie
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. The crumbly shortbread dough combined with the sweet and tender apple filling creates a pie that's hard to resist—you won't even feel the need to serve tea alongside, as it's delicious and moist on its own! You can use any type of apples; adjust the filling's taste with sugar and lemon juice to your preference. I recommend decorating the top with a lattice crust to give the pie a more festive look. Don't skimp on the apples—the more filling, the tastier the pastry. Use a 24 cm (9-inch) pan for this pie. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
