Apple cake with chocolate
Description
The easiest everyday baking option—quick and simple. And most importantly, you can freely experiment with ingredients: replace apples with pears, chocolate with caramel. And just like that, you'll have not just one, but several variations of a simple and delicious cake! I'll tell you how. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Ingredients for our cake + sour cream :)
- 2
Step 2

First of all, you need to melt the butter in the milk, so that it has time to cool down by the moment we need to pour this mixture into the dough.
- 3
Step 3

Next, rub the sugar with the eggs.
- 4
Step 4

Add the cooled milk-butter mixture to the eggs and mix until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 5
Step 5

Add the flour, baking powder, and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- 6
Step 6

We wash the apples, peel them, and grate them on a coarse grater.
- 7
Step 7

Add the apples to the dough and mix.
- 8
Step 8

Pour the batter into the mold and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
- 9
Step 9

Bake the cake for about 50 minutes (check for doneness with a wooden skewer). Then remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. After about 15 minutes, you can take it out of the mold and place it on a serving dish.
- 10
Step 10

While the cake is cooling, we'll prepare the chocolate glaze. Take three tablespoons of sour cream, a chocolate bar, and melt over medium heat.
- 11
Step 11

When the chocolate has completely melted, add 2 teaspoons of cocoa and mix thoroughly until smooth.
- 12
Step 12

Let's set aside the ready-made chocolate fondant for now and let it cool and thicken slightly.
- 13
Step 13

Brush our cake with chocolate. You can wait until it cools completely or serve it immediately. Decorate to your liking.
