Apple turnovers
Description
The baked goods are simple and quick to prepare. Turnovers are simple and quick to make if you bake them using store-bought puff pastry. Even an inexperienced cook can make an apple-and-raisin filling; everything else comes down to technique. To specialists in homemade puff pastry I take my hat off—the process is long and fairly involved. Juicy, tender turnovers are lovely for afternoon tea with the family or on a festive table. You can serve them with tea or coffee.
